Redesign Education Software – Interactive Systems I
The aim of “Interactive Systems I” was to develop a modern and functional design for the education software “Biolab”.
Presentation
About the projects “Interactive Systems I” and »Interactive Systems II« I created a presentation which can be viewed online (You can control it using the arrow keys on your keyboard).
In the project we first analyzed the existing user interface and identified weak spots. Subsequently sketches and drafts for a new interface were produced. We focused especially on improving the navigation in the software. The sketches were then turned into static mockups and finally a prototype, which in fact only contains few pages of content and no full functionality, but at which the navigation as main element of our project has been fully implemented.
Below you find some screenshots of the application created by us, which show the new navigational concept and the visual design of the interface.

Ubuntu is a distribution of the free operating system GNU/Linux. It is liked for its simple installation, user-friendlyness and its big community of happy users. Ubuntu is safe, reliable, available free of charge and can do everything Windows can do – and more!

Inkscape is a powerful, free vector graphics editor. It uses the open file format SVG and is available free of charge for Linux, Windows and Mac OS X.
Unfortunately, I cannot upload the implemented application due to copyright reasons.
