About the icons
It sounds so simple: You take an image, shrink it to a size of 48x48, 32x32 or 16x16 pixels and voilà – you have an icon. But usually this only results in a blurred heap of pixels, because to cram an expressive icon with clear details and sharp edges into such a small area, you have to tweak and care for almost every single pixel.
That’s why all the icons presented here have not been automatically scaled but aligned to the pixel grid and fine-tuned “by hand”.
